At Stonham, we are committed to preparing every child for a successful future, both academically and personally. Our experienced teachers and teaching assistants, many of whom have been part of the school community for many years, provide high-quality teaching and dedicated support in a positive and nurturing environment.
From building strong foundations in the Early Years and developing excellent reading skills through effective phonics teaching, to fostering confidence, resilience and character through our school values, every stage of a child's journey is carefully planned to help them thrive.
We are proud of our strong track record of supporting children as they move on to the next stage of their education. The majority of our pupils transition to Debenham High School, our main feeder school, where they continue to build on the knowledge, skills and values developed during their time at Stonham.
By the time our pupils leave Year 6, they are confident, independent learners who are well prepared for the opportunities and challenges of secondary school life. We work closely with families and our partner high schools to ensure that every child experiences a smooth and positive transition.
