We are pleased to be able to announce that after a carefully planned and diligent selection process that we have agreed to appoint Mrs Sharon Waldron as the next head teacher of our school.

During the selection process Mrs Waldron demonstrated a strong commitment to the values that underpin everything that happens in our school.  She is a successful teacher and head teacher who is currently working in another church school and is extremely enthusiastic about leading our school.

Over the coming weeks and months we will be working with Mrs Waldron, Mr Hesketh and the staff in the school to plan for the arrival of Mrs Waldron.  Mrs Waldron will take up her appointment on 13th April 2015.  Please work with us as we go through this process and welcome Mrs Waldron when she arrives.

Welcome to Stonham Aspal Pirmary School

Welcome to our school.

It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to our school.

Education at Stonham Aspal CE Primary School is a serious business, but is one founded upon children enjoying coming to school and being given the opportunity, encouragement, support, resources and teaching to be the best they can possibly be.

We encourage all of our children to think and question the world around about them. “I wonder…” is a common thread in all that we do. As a Christian school at work in the local community we constantly look in wonder at God’s world and our part in it.

We are a school that cares about one another, both here and further afield.

We expect the highest standards of consideration and respect to be shown to all, and we are proud of our academic record and the progress that our children make.

We hope that you will enjoy exploring our website. If you are interested in finding out even more about us, and are able to come and to meet us in person, we would be delighted to say “hello” and to show you around.

Please do not hesitate to telephone, e-mail or write for an appointment.

You are guaranteed a warm welcome.
